Ever heard of the expression “when it rains it pours”? Well, that is what life has felt like in my little Chestnut tribe lately. But don’t worry, it has been raining – pouring in fact – good things. But as it goes when there is too much of a good thing, sometimes it can get hard to stay organised. And so I apologize for being “off the air” for a bit while I’ve gotten some personal ducks in a row (geez, I’m all full of expressions today, aren’t I?)
The house of the mouse
This past week we totally seized the day(s) and enjoyed every minute of our once-in-a-lifetime 3 generational trip to the house of the mouse…Seeing the wonder and excitement on my boys faces as they watched Tinkerbell fly, danced with Mickey and squealed with delight on a rollercoaster and flying Dumbo are memories I will cherish forever. And having Grandma and Grandpa there to witness and be equally amazed was just the icing on the cake.
So I gave myself this week to put my entrepreneur life on hold and switch off. And to be honest, with an average of 17000 steps daily and too many calories to count (do they even count at all on vacation???) there just wasn’t even time to do anything but live in the moments….

Christmas is just around the corner (55 days, but who’s counting??) and with it the busy holiday shopping season, followed by every wedding stationers favorite….engagement season! I’m using every spare minute I have to beef up my Christmas inventory in the shop. I’m trying to make sure I have a variety of Christmas Gift Ideas for everyone in my tribe and yours. Now’s the time to get organised and prepped. Are you with me?
